Zoe Maitland (she/her) works within multiple genres of photography. Her work is guided by a playful and spontaneous process to investigate themes of nostalgia, memory, and the fluid nature of time. Recent group exhibitions include Onyx, Onyx Gallery (Eugene, OR), and When We’re Awake, McMillan Gallery (Eugene, OR). She has self-published three photobooks: Kissing, Eating, Talking (March 2025); Scandinavian Swimmers (January 2025), and Bold Below the Belt (March 2024). She is currently an Executive Photo Editor for a student-run magazine at UO and the lead photographer for the UO School of Art + Design.

Zoe is from Oakland, California. She currently lives in Eugene, Oregon, pursuing her BFA in Photography and Art History Minor at the University of Oregon. She plans to return to California after she graduates in the spring of 2026. She is open to freelance, editorial, and commercial photography assignments.
